Rotary gives third-graders dictionaries

The Bergenfield-Dumont Rotary Club and the Bergenfield High School Interact Club joined together to give a dictionary to every third-grade student in Bergenfield and Dumont.

Kimberly Paton, president-elect of the Rotary club said, "Our Rotary club is a great organization, and we love helping the community.

"It is our goal to help these young people with their education and learning," she said. "We are waiting for them to apply for our scholarships when they graduate high school."

James Kennedy, principal of Selzer School in Dumont, added, "These dictionaries are heaven-sent."

Anyone interested in joining Rotary should call Paton at 201-291-1603.
