Movies, concerts on tap in Dumont
Dumont Recreation has announced the schedule of this summer’s Thursday evening performances in the summer concert and movie series.
All concerts will be held at Memorial Park on Pershing Street and will start at 7:30 p.m.
All movies will be shown at the field behind Grant School, 100 Grant Ave., and will start by 8:30 p.m.
Concerts
n July 10 — Glen Rock Pops Orchestra.
n July 17 — Tex Doyle and the Country Thunder Band.
n July 31 — REMINISCE.
n Aug. 14 — Peter Spink Acoustic Rock.
n Aug. 28 — Irish Night with the Ian Gallagher Band.
Movies
n July 24 — "High School Musical 2."
n Aug. 7 — "The Bee Movie."
n
Aug. 21 — "The Sandlot 2."
In the case of inclement weather, the cancellation of any concert or movie will be done by 4:30 p.m. the day of the performance. A message will appear on the illuminated sign in front of the borough hall and also on the Recreation Office’s answering machine at 201-384-1453.
