Bergenfield’s well-established summer playground program at Memorial Park offers youngsters ages 5 to 12 a six-week program of recreational activities supervised by a staff of experienced counselors.
The program runs now through Friday, Aug. 8.
Activities include sports, games, day trips, a wading pool, and a magic show.
The program is open to residents and non-residents.
Registration for the summer playground program is ongoing, and youngsters can join at any time during the six-week camp session.
If vacations have been made during this time, a child can attend prior to and after the vacation, or begin on returning from vacation.
Fees for Bergenfield residents are $100 for the first child and $50 for each additional child. Non-resident fees are $175 for the first child and $125 for each additional child.
Hours for the program at Memorial Park are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting, for youngsters ages 5 to 12.
The summer program for 4-year-olds is from 9 a.m. to noon.
Bergenfield’s summer playground program is family friendly. Supervisors and counselors are accessible to parents and work with them to provide the best summer experience for the youngsters.
The program provides a place where children can renew old friendships, make new one —and have fun.
