Yolanda R. Perrella
BERGENFIELD — Yolanda R. Perrella (nee Crocitto), 83, of Bergenfield died May 8 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y, she was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield.
Predeceased by her husband Louis J. Perrella Sr., Mrs. Perrella is survived by her sons, John G., Frank W. and Louis J. Perrella Jr.; and grandchildren, Frank, Christopher, Gavin and Julianna Catherine Perrella.
There was a funeral liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield, on Wednesday, May 14 followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack.
Arrangements were made by Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., Bergenfield.

Ernest W. Morf
DUMONT — Ernest W. Morf, 84, of Dumont died May 11 at Hackensack University Medical Center.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a corporate chauffeur for Lipton Tea Co., Englewood Cliffs, for 16 years before retiring in 1991. He previously was a driver for Exxon.
Mr. Morf is survived by his wife, Eleanor Morf (nee Diani); daughter, Judi Hicks; son, James R. Morf and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Valerie Mount and her husband Russell, and Jennifer Hicks; and great-grandchildren, Billy, Sydney, Sarah and Jonah.
There was a funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, on Thursday, May 15, with the Rev. Richard Vander Borgh officiating. Interment followed in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.

Gary E. Bryant
DUMONT — Gary E. Bryant, 68, of Dumont died May 11.
He was a receptionist at In Shear Demand for more than 28 years.
He enjoyed reading the dictionary and could discuss many subjects. He was also a master gardener, with a skill for growing very large tomatoes, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friend, Billy Meroth.
Mr. Bryant was also an ardent sports fan, especially of the New York Giants and the New York Mets.
A polio survivor, he overcame many of its challenges.
Mr. Bryant was the son of the late Edna A. Bryant and Robert E. Bryant; brother of Bonnie E. Bryant and Robert G. Bryant; and uncle of Deidre Bryant, Audrey Castro and Keith Bryant.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. July 19 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 31 Lynn St., Harrington Park.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 108 Brook St., Dumont NJ 07628, or the Dumont Fire Department, 50 Washington Ave., Dumont NJ 07628.

Elsie M. Holly Soffel
DUMONT — Elsie M. Holly Soffel, 95, of Dumont died May 14 in Woodcrest Center, New Milford.
She was born in New York, lived in Dumont for 50 years and the last eight years in New Milford.
She was a member of the New Milford Women’s Club and Old North Reformed Church in Dumont.
Before retiring, she was an assistant librarian for the Dixon Homestead Library in Dumont.
Predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Soffel, in 1996, she is survived by her son and his wife, Warren J. and Margery Soffel of Little Falls; three grandchildren, Heather, Matthew and Holly; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Saturday, May 17 at Woodside Cemetery, Dumont.
Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack NJ 07601.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
