Mary Mani Mistry
PARK RIDGE — Mary Mani Mistry (nee Tamboli), 88, of Park Ridge formerly of River edge died May 4 at the Plaza Regency Care Center in Park Ridge.
Born in Calcutta, India, she was an actuarial clerk for Met Life in New York.
Predeceased by her husband, Eruch Mistry, she is survived by her son, Steven Mistry and his fiancee Joyce Stahl; grandchildren, Erica Gianantonio, Adam and Bethany Mistry, Ariele, Samantha and Chelsea Stahl, and great-granddaughter, Victoria.
There was a graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, on Wednesday, May 7.
Arrangements were made by Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., Bergenfield.

Michael J. Neff
BERGENFIELD — Michael J. Neff of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Bergenfield, died May 3.
He worked for The Home Depot in Paramus and was active in Narcotics Anonymous.
Mr. Neff was predeceased by sisters, Frannie and Nancy, and is survived by his children, Vincent, Brandon and Herky; his siblings, Francine, Valerie, Darlene, Kathy, Ellen, Frank, Ronald, Steven and Chester; his grandchildren Timothy, Jeremy and Paul; and many nieces and nephews.
There was a funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday, May 8. Cremation was private.

Benjamin J. Intorre Sr.
DUMONT — Benjamin J. Intorre Sr., 78, of Dumont, died May 2.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived the last 48 years in Dumont.
Mr. Intorre was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired 24 years ago as a chemist for Con Edison.
He attended St. Francis College, Class of 1951 and received a doctorate degree from Clark University in 1955. He was a member of and past president of the American Musicians Union, Society of American Magicians and American Society of Chemical Engineers.
He loved entertaining children and seniors with his magic and music.
He was the father of Benjamin Jr., Angelo and his wife Dorothea, Louis and his wife Katherine, and Leonard; stepfather of Thomas Martin, Robert and his wife Marlene Martin, Maryanne and Thomas Hasting, Steven and his wife Denise Martin, and Kathleen and her husband Robert Hazelton; and grandfather of Anita, Angelo, Dorothea, Louis, Kristi and Athena. He was also the brother of Joseph Intorre and Carmella Fede.
A funeral Mass was offered Tuesday, May 6 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.

Bonnie Elsa Frohlich
DUMONT — Bonnie Elsa (nee Franke) Frohlich of Dumont died May 2.
She retired from the Haworth School math department and was active with Old North Reformed Church in Dymont.
She was the mother of Karen Frohlich and her husband Anthony DiBella, Timothy Frohlich and Mary Beth; grandmother of Nicolas DiBella; and sister of Walter Franke.
A religious service was held Wednesday, May 7 at Old North Reformed Church, Dumont. Interment was in Westwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Frech Funeral Home of Dumont, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.

Frank J. Schlichting
DUMONT — Frank J. Schlichting, 99, of Dumont died May 5.
He retired in 1972 as the owner of Frank J. Schlichting Plumbing and Heating of Dumont.
Mr. Schlichting was chief of the Dumont Fire Department in 1937, was an exempt fireman and a life member of Independent Hose Company.
He was the husband of Eleanor (nee Muntwyler); father of Janet and her husband Warren Kaine, and Robert and his wife Lois Schlichting. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one-great-great granddaughter.
The funeral was Thursday, May 8 at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stafford Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Helen T. Neckles Rodriguez
DUMONT — Helen T. Neckles Rodriguez of Dumont died May 5 in Bristol Manor, Rochelle Park.
She was born in New York, lived in the Bronx, and Hackensack, and the last 15 years in Dumont.
Before retiring 17 years ago, she was a sales person for Sears in Hackensack for 15 years.
She was a member of the Dumont Senior Citizens, AARP, and the Shining Light Adult Day Care Center in Englewood.
Surviving is her son, George D. Costello of North Bergen.
Entombment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, N.Y.
Arrangements were made by Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
