New Milford student receives scholarship

New Milford resident Chimno I. Nnadi, a student at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest, has received a $2,500 National Achievement scholarship to be used for undergraduate college study.

The National Achievement Scholarship Program is underwritten by 40 corporate organizations and professional associations and by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It was established in 1964 to honor scholastically talented Black American youth.

Nnadi’s probable career field is medicine.
