Hilda T. Clifford
DUMONT — Hilda T. Clifford (nee Meese), 94, of Dumont died April 1 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Hoboken, she was a secretary for the National Lutheran Council in New York, retiring in 1971.
Mrs. Clifford was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Dumont.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred F. Clifford Sr., in 1984 and a son, Alfred F. Clifford Jr. in 1982. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra C. Eck; grandchildren, Stephen M. Eck, Karen E. Eck-Squillante, Michael B. and Kelly J. Clifford; and great-grandchildren, Lorelei E. and Theodor H. Eck.
There was a funeral service on Friday, April 4 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Dumont with the Rev. James H. McKinley officiating. Interment followed in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Arrangements were made by Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

Victor D. Lindsley
BERGENFIELD — Victor D. Lindsley, 83, of Bergenfield, died March 31 in Care One at Dunroven.
He was born in Binghamton, N.Y., and lived in Bergenfield for the last 50 years.
Mr. Lindsley was a Navy veteran of World War II and a former member of St. John’s Council 1345, Knights of Columbus, Bergenfield-Dumont.
Before retiring in 1990, he was an account executive for Melco in Ridgefield for 30 years.
Surviving are his children, Deborah Taylor of Dumont, Victor D. Lindsley III of Summerfield, N.C., Mark Lindsley of Hackensack, and Donna and her husband Bertrard E. Foley Jr. of Kunkletown, Pa.; his sisters, Shirley O’Keefe, Patricia Weller and Roberta Szwalla; five grandchildren and Anne M. Lindsley.
A funeral service was held April 8 at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont, with private cremation.

Joseph E. Fitzpatrick
DUMONT — Joseph E. Fitzpatrick, 89, of Dumont, died March 28 at Care One in Teaneck.
He was born in New York City and lived the last 45 years in Dumont.
Before retiring at 65, Mr. Fitzpatrick was an elevator mechanic for Otis Elevators in the Bronx, N.Y.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a life member of Bergenfield Elks Lodge 1477.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Dougherty Fitzpatrick; his son, Joseph Fitzpatrick Jr.; and a niece, Maureen Cino of Dumont.
A funeral Mass was offered April 1 at St. Mary’s R. C. Church, Dumont with burial in Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, N.Y.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.

Muriel Alice Covert Schneider
DUMONT — Muriel Alice Covert Schneider, 92, of Dumont, died March 29 in Care One at Valley, Westwood.
She was born in Glen Falls, N.Y., and lived in Dumont for many years.
Surviving are her two sons, Fred Schneider and Reinhold and his wife Anna Schneider; three grandchildren, Donna Felter, and Janet and Ronald Schneider; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Felter.
The Rev. James H. Mckinley officiated at services April 1 at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Burial was in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home.

Anthony D. Gaglione
BERGENFIELD — Anthony D. Gaglione, 62, of Key West, Fla., formerly of Bergenfield, died April 3 at his home.
Born in Jersey City, he was a printer for Detroy-Bergen Press in Teterboro before relocating to Key West in 1993.
Mr. Galione was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his daughters, Danielle and Nicole Gaglione; a sister, Marie J. and her husband Angelo DePrinzio; and cousins, Dominick and his wife Rose DeDio, Maureen Miller, Maryann and her husband Donald McKelvey, Elaine Cirillo, Richard and Patty Moschella.
There was a funeral liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield, on Wednesday, April 9 followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
Arrangements were made by Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., Bergenfield.
