Theresa Bertolini Santangelo
DUMONT — Theresa Bertolini Santangelo, 78, of Dumont, died March 6 in Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
She was born in Jersey City, lived in Demarest and the last 15 years in Dumont.
Her husband, Carmine, died in 2006. Surviving are her children, Celeste Bellersen of Bergenfield, Carmine J. Santangelo Jr. of Dumont, Chris Santangelo of Loveland, Ohio, Doreen Calore of Bergenfield, James Santangelo of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Tina Burgess of Hudson, Fla.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Entombment was in Garden of Memories, Township of Washington.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.

Peter A. Bonelli
BERGENFIELD — Peter A. Bonelli of Warwick, N.Y., formerly of Bergenfield, died March 10.
He was an army veteran of the Vietnam era and a sports enthusiast who loved vintage cars.
Before retiring in 2005, Mr. Bonelli he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in New Milford where he worked for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his parents, Lyvia Lao and her husband Frank, and Pedro Bonelli and his wife Eva; his brother Billy Bonelli; a sister, Gloria Bonelli and her husband Michael Tobin; his children, Erick and Kara L. Bonelli. Also surviving is his spouse, Barbara.
There was a funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield, on Friday. March 14. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated.

Joseph Schiraldi
DUMONT — Joseph Schiraldi, 50, of Milford, Pa., formerly of Dumont, died March 6 in Milford.
He was an Army veteran and had worked as a heavy equipment operator for R.G. Groups, Mahwah.
Surviving are his wife Lisa (nee Gioia) Schiraldi; sons, Joseph, John and Daniel Schiraldi; his parents, Eileen Plotkin and Dominick Schiraldi; a sister, Christine Kopp; brothers, Scott Plotkin, Anthony and Stephen Schiraldi; aunts, Connie Schiraldi and Marie Bandanza; and five nieces and nephews.
There was a funeral liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield on Monday, March 10 followed by interment in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Arrangements were made by Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.

Charles J. Lennox
LAVALLETTE — Charles J. Lennox, 80, of Lavallette, died March 8 in Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
He was born in Passaic and lived in Lavallette for many years.
Mr. Lennox was a veteran of World War II.
Before retiring, he owned and managed Travel Institute in Jersey City, a training personnel institution for travel.
He is survived by Janice Magda Lennox, his wife of 41 years; his son, Charles of East Rutherford; his daughter, Susie Richards of Allendale; and his grandchildren, Casey and Cooper Richards.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11 at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Lavallette, on March 11.
Arrangements were made by the Frech Funeral Home of Dumont.

Lorenza E. Balanay
BERGENFIELD — Lorenza E. Balanay, 92, of Bergenfield died March 9.
She was born in the Philippines.
Predeceased by her husband, Gil Balanay, and a son, Diosdado Balanay, she is survived by her daughters, Violeta Frank and Vilma Balanay; grandchildren, Jacqueline Erickson and Geraldine Cruz; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Samantha and Sophia Erickson.
There was a funeral service on Saturday, March 15 at Riewerts Memorial Home Inc., 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. Cremation was private.

She was born in New York and lived in Dumont for the last 50 years.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont.
Predeceased by her brother, William Foye, in 2002, she is survived by her husband, William J.; her children and their spouses, Patricia and Joseph Turiello of Denville, Michael and Barbara Dowling of Bergenfield; her brother, John Foye of Ramsey; her sisters, Agnes Foye of Leesburg, Fla., and Anne Taxter of Dumont; and eight grandchildren, Michael, Daniel and Kristin Turiello, and Brian, James, Lauren, Caitlyn and Katie Dowling.
A funeral Mass was offered March 10 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

CRESSKILL — Madeleine Behr Luongo, 99, of Cresskill, formerly of Dumont, died March 5 in Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
She was born in New York City, lived in Dumont and the last several years in Cresskill.
She is survived by her children, Albert, Peter, and Alexander Luongo, Pauline Mathews, Cecile Peppin and Rosemarie Hackett; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was offered March 8 at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

Ida Siggia
NEW MILFORD — Ida Siggia, 97, of New Milford died March 13.
A former resident of Hackensack and Florida, she lived in New Milford for the last 16 years.
She was predeceased by brothers, Sidney and Virgil Siggia; and sisters, Pauline Siggia and Josephine Graham.
She was sister of Marion Ann Siggia, Florind Siggia and his wife Marion; aunt of Peter and Nina Siggia, Lucille and John Malizia, Judith Graham, Kathleen and Gilbert Rhein and Michelle Pennetti; and great-aunt of Richard and Jennifer Washabaughhm, Ross and Justin Rhein and Jennifer Pennetti.
A funeral Mass was offered held March 17 in St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Entombment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hackensack.
