Dr. Patrick and Joan Capizzi of North Haledon announce the engagement of their daughter, Ariana Nicole Filomena Capizzi, to Shaun Michael Brauer, son of James and Paula Brauer of Bergenfield.

Ariana is a 2002 graduate of DePaul Catholic High School and a 2005 graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is currently employed as a child-care provider for Knowledge Learning Center in Mahwah.

Shaun is a 1996 graduate of Bergenfield High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Delaware, where he received a bachelor’s degree in music education. He is currently employed at Salem Middle School.

A 2009 wedding is planned.
